Summary

 

Noted Consumer Activation Platform empowering the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brands to turn their prospects and customers into networks of authentic influencers is seeking a talented Sales Manager for their East Coast national sales office in New York City.  The EVP of Sales is based in this New York office and this position offers exceptional visibility and resources to a talented sales professional with related sales experience with major brands.

 

The firm is led by sales, technology and creative executives from Disney, Snap, Microsoft, Unilever, CBS, Viacom, and other major media and entertainment conglomerates.

 

Offering software-as-a-service (SaaS) licensing plus cost per view pricing as annual usage grows, the firm aligns incentives that guarantee mutual success for the firm and the firm's clients

 

Since 2014, the Firm has been activating consumers for Capital One, Clorox, Johnson & Johnson, Crayola, Rakuten/Viber, General Mills, Maroon 5, Boston Celtics, AEG, MasterCard, L’Oréal and many more who enjoy brand awareness, new product roll-out, direct to consumer sales, endorsement, peer-to-peer consumer activation and verified user generated content.   

 

The ideal Director is a self-starter, extremely dynamic, highly entrepreneurial and well connected within the marketing community.  They will have experience working with and securing multi-million dollar deals and six-figure deals directly with F1000 and Unicorn brands. 

 

In the boardroom with a CMO; or with brand managers at a major CPG or Automotive, or global Travel & Leisure, this sales executive should enjoy selling creative solutions "with real verifiable results" that keep brands coming back for increased engagement.  Results, speaks volumes and the firm offers exceptional verifiable efficacy.

 

Duties

 

  • Consistently hit and/or exceed revenue goals and other KPI’s by calling on Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brand clients.

  • A person who enjoys offering their clients real verifiable solutions to influence consumers.

  • Proactively communicate and strategically respond to marketplace developments by the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brands to develop a steady pipeline of new business.

  • Leverage existing relationships to maximize short and long-term revenue opportunities

  • Navigate direct brand relationships to identify and establish internal champions to achieve “buy-in”, which leads to strategic partnerships

  • Use Salesforce to maintain organization and transparency with other team members

  • Initially close, then expand business within a brand to achieve enterprise status across multiple product lines. A prime example would be a multinational CPG, Automotive, Travel & Leisure or Financial to name a few. 

  • Champion the Firm as a Consumer Activation Platform and leader in the User Generated Advertising category within the industry, to clients and related industry functions and shows. 

 

Skills and Experience Required

 

  • 7-10 years of combined media sales, strategic partnership or business development experience selling to Fortune 50-1000 or Unicorn Brands offering related C2C, B2C, Social Networking, Direct to Consumer or User Generated Content as components of your offings.

  • Of the 7-10 years of experience, a minimum of 3-5 years must be closing business at all internal levels of direct brand clients vs. just their advertising agencies. 

  • Exposure to selling SaaS | software-as-a-service for turn-key solutions to clients in the media, entertainment, media technology, social media or advertising industries would be a big plus.

  • The firm offers clients enormous creative, technology and media resources.  This sales executive should feel empowered walking into global brands with the full resources of a world-class digital advertising agency with cutting edge, verifiable efficacy from other Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brands

  • This sales executive should have experience introducing new products and marketing concepts to marketers who at times are not aware of the "most advanced" or "most effective" solutions to engage consumers.

  • A firm knowledge of Consumer Activation and or User Generated Content is highly desired.

  • A sales executive who can evangelize the dynamics of the "Tom Sawyer" effect as consumers engage other consumers, in a positive and verifiable way for major brands.

  • A person poised for career and financial growth would be ideal.  Even though the firm is highly profitable, in business since 2014 and has major Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brand clients, the only way to express the firm's dynamic growth is as a highly successful "startup".  Any person who has worked at a "highly successful" start-up will understand the type of growth the firm is experiencing.  Start-up experience is highly desired as this person must be prepared to handle a large volume of business. 

  • BA/BS required, related Master's degree a plus
