Los Angeles, CA - Territory includes all of the West Coast to include Redmond, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and associated technology, travel & leisure, telecommunications, entertainment, financial, big-box, pharma, apparel, beverage, adult beverage, CPG, QSR's and automotive business centers within the West Coast territories.




to $350,000 base with equal or greater commissions and bonus structures that reward success for a $600,000 to $750,000 package the first year.

A noted media, music and entertainment brand of a major U.S. based multinational media and entertainment conglomerate that is the #1 company in their genre, in the world.  The TV Network is a multicast, multiplatform, multichannel, multiplex in over 100,000,000+ American homes.





The TV Network Account Executive plays an important role within the Network(s) National Advertising sales team and is responsible for managing key relationships with agencies and clients.  S/he must be a client-focused seller who has experience in Television National Advertising Sales. 


S/he will work closely with TV Network national sales personnel to create and present opportunities for on-air advertising to agencies and clients.  S/he will also identify prospective advertisers to bring to the Network(s). 


The TV Network AE will develop, close and manage business from new and existing national accounts on the West Coast with national advertisers and their agencies.  S/he must be able to create, develop and execute sales strategies and proposals. 


Specifically, the Digital Account Executive will:


  • Nurture and grow the network’s TV advertising sales efforts with targeted clients.  Ideal business relationships with technology, telecommunications and automotive clients and agencies would be ideal.

  • Structure deals and develop strong business relationships. 

  • Enhance revenue through direct sales to national advertisers and advertising agencies. 

  • Create and/or identify convergent opportunities with advertisers that capitalize on the interactive properties and the TV Network's capacity to attract a desirable demographic based on their music, entertainment, TV series and information dominance. 

  • Sell across all TV Networks. 

  • Create sales presentations for key, target categories and accounts.

  • Generate revenue that meets or exceeds budget.

  • Effectively collaborate with multiple departments in order to achieve TV Network objectives and optimize revenue through strategic and creative means.

  • Continually identify, define, and quantify both existing and new revenue opportunities.




The TV Network Account Executive will be an experienced, driven and innovative national TV advertising sales professional.


S/he will be part of a collaborative sales team helping to grow overall TV Network revenues.  S/he must have national advertising sales experience and existing relationships with the agency/media buying community. 


In addition, all candidates should possess the following:   


  • A minimum of 5+ years of TV advertising sales experience managing a list of accounts and advertising agencies.

  • Experience working with other platforms synergistically (Network TV, Cable TV, Radio, Print and Digital).

  • Proven capacity to enhance revenue through consultative selling skills in the boardroom, ad agencies, industry events, entertaining, and upfronts. 

  • Strong communication skills to present to major advertising agencies and clients.

  • Strong relationships with agencies and clients that allow the presentation of special events, integrated advertising opportunities and TV Network tent pole opportunities.

  • The ability to structure deals and develop strong client relationships as part of one the nation’s leading cable TV Networks serving over 100,000,000 loyal viewers.

  • Experience working as part of a sales organization and growing your own business.

  • Strong analytical ability for strategic sales development, including interpretation of media research and analysis for effective use as a sales tool.

  • Superior communications skills; the ability to keep all parties informed and aware of key issues surrounding this role. 

  • Ability to get along and work productively with all colleagues both in sales, marketing, research, programming and brand solutions.  

  • A track record of successfully increasing TV advertising sales revenues.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and aggressive attitude towards exceeding goals.

  • A confident, tenacious, diplomatic, and collaborative style.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment of a large multinational media and entertainment conglomerate. 

  • Extremely goal oriented with the ability to be organized and prioritize.

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Ability to travel, attend industry events and entertain clients at music and entertainment venues and upfronts.
