Prominent global news organization is seeking a honed on-air professional to be based in the DC/VA/MD geographic for US | ASIA Business News and Specials.

This 24/7 news organization is expanding programming to produce live, specials and in-depth programming to explore US | ASIA businesses and their leadership.

Programming is for live broadcast cable net, OTT properties and digital platforms.

The ideal is an individual capable of developing a younger demographic to open horizons on US | ASIA businesses and investments.

Recent specials slated for production include:

Requirements

A minimum of five years of live broadcast experience
Ability to host 2 hours of live programming 5 days a week and 1 hour on Sundays
The ability to interview heads of industry, media personalities and financial executives with professionalism in an upbeat manner
An awareness and appeal to young and growing audiences in the US and ASIA
The ability to travel as needed for news and specials
Exceptional English language communication skills, both oral and written.
The ability to work with producers and programming executives in a deadline-driven environment where priorities can change based on global events.
A person who will be welcomed by C level executives, media & entertainment personalities and investment executives in a multitude of settings for live broadcasts and taped programming
Ability to regularly work with the On-Air Promo producer and V.P. Programming to keep audiences aware of current programming and specials
Future ability to produce or co-produce a one-hour Sunday “weekly weekend” update about trends in the business week to come.
