Summary
Multinational electronics and technology conglomerate is seeking an Executive Director of Media & Entertainment Technology to be based in Nothern California.
​
This newly created role will lead a talented group of technologists and business executives responsible for product development, distribution and marketing relevant to the media and entertainment industry for consumer & professional electronics and device solutions.
​
Compensation
High-six-figure base with equal incentives, bonus, stock and savings. Low seven-figure total compensation the first year plus sign-on bonus. Comprehensive health and welfare for you and your family. Duties
​

Lead primary technology initiatives from Northern California reporting into the firm's executive offices in Asia.

Manage U.S. Vice Presidents for Motion Picture, Broadcasting, Music, Consumer Electronics, Telecom and Solutions.

Liaise with industrial, research and content producers and partners during concept, development, manufacturing and product roll-outs.

Keep abreast of U.S. legislative, entertainment, telecom, consumer trends and market conditions.

Maintain and develop U.S. research and academic relationships

Meet with industry partners to educate key stakeholders in the development of products, solutions and timelines.

Assure that U.S. industrial partners are aware of supply-chain schedules and meet commitments

Work closely with Marketing to assure the firm's technology developments are being communicated accurately to consumers, industry partners and shareholders

Attended industry events and represent the firm along with technical, sales and creative staff.

Maintain budgets and reporting through U.S. Finance

Consistently attract talented engineering, science, manufacturing and product development employees for U.S. and global interests

Assure that Motion Picture, Broadcast, Music and Telecom partners are kept abreast of technology, products and solutions that offer competitive advantages in their respective markets

Host annual academic and sciences event with Human Resources to showcase the firm's leadership and career opportunities with key U.S. institutions.

Required
​

Senior leadership experience in electronic product development relevant to the media & entertainment industries
-
Broad awareness of AI, AR and Biometric Integration through the full-cycle of concept to production, highly desired.

The ability to align the Firm's global technology, manufacturing and solutions resources to meet the needs of U.S. business partners globally.

Experience managing key technology human resources, intellectual property and securing same at all times. Consistently work with IT and corporate security to assure that the firm's interests are maintained.

A proven track record of working with legal, human resources, IT, finance, marketing and manufacturing personnel within a global provider of electronic solutions.

Advanced degree(s) within the sciences/engineering.

Ability to comprehend component, (PCB and circuits) from concept to manufacturing and their associated firmware and partner relationships for monetization channels.

A minimum of (10) ten years of current related leadership experience within electronic manufacturing related to media and entertainment electronic product development, manufacturing and distribution.

English and proficiency with a second language highly desired.
