Summary
The Account Director is responsible for the overall status of his/her account. This includes managing the strategic direction of the account team, maintaining a healthy and productive relationship with the client and maintaining the quality of work on the account. In addition, the Account Director must achieve the agreed-upon profit targets and growth goals for the account. The Account Director is responsible for keeping Agency management informed on major issues affecting the account.
Responsibilities

Ability to work independently but provide leadership to remote agency team.

Exceptional at building and nurturing client relationships.

Have hybrid account management /account planner background or strong strategic skills.

Must insure the quality of work on all aspects of the account.

Be effective in preventing problems and solving them quickly as they develop.

Must possess the experience and breadth of knowledge in marketing including digital, social and other emerging media.

Contribute to the growth of the account and take responsibility for the profitability of the account.

Cultivate opportunities for senior management to have contact with clients.

Provide a keen understanding of multicultural markets. "Total Market" & "Scope"

Be able to plan, present and execute the account’s strategic direction.

Be able to effectively manage budgets for revenue generation, profit growth and compliance with client contracts.

Exhibit broad people management skills.

Be a team player who is able to work within the Agency systems.

Must possess superior communication skills, both written and oral.

Experience with major beauty and or CPG accounts strongly preferred.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree a must with 8-10 years of related experience in account planning or account management.

Advertising agency experience strongly preferred with CPG and or beauty brands
-
Proficient with computer applications and open to learning new systems.

A strong understanding of creating a culture of success for employees and clients in a respected multicultural environment

Ability to engage clients with "Total Market" and "Scope" as specialists in engaging ideal multicultural demographics.
