One of America's leading digital and over the air broadcasters of music and music entertainment genre programming is seeking a honed director of digital advertising and sponsorship sales to be based in New York City.


This position reporting to the CEO will be responsible for advertising agency and direct client relationships across the Music Networks to monetize 30 million+ monthly unique visitors.  Currently across Online, OTT, Mobile, OEM and OTA the brand is a true multicast, multichannel, multiplex music offering national advertisers and sponsors a unique and highly effective digital platform for access to their most desired demographics.


Job Description


  • Call on advertising agencies, direct clients and digital ad partners offering music genre based premium publishing access to 30 million+, monthly unique visitors, for national sponsorship and advertising. 

  • Approach revenue generation from a holistic perspective seeking opportunities that bring about brand awareness and unique monetization partnerships and sponsorships that are both traditional and non-traditional.

  • Convey the importance of music as a targeted tool, based on genre, to gain access to ideal demographics ideally suited to industry verticals.

  • Work internally to assure that RFP’s and ideation reflect the brand’s benefits and advantages and offered are within context of the client’s specific needs.

  • Keep a close attention to music programming, music events and music artists for coverage across all genres to convey unique opportunities aligned with a client’s advertising and sponsorship needs.    

  • Keep a close attention to traffic and inventory availabilities to optimize return.

  • Work externally with diverse buyers, planners, brand managers, networks and CMO’s when required to articulate messaging in digital environments to Fortune 50-5000 boardrooms.




  • A minimum of 3-7 years of digital advertising / sponsorship sales experience selling music video or music related content

  • Experience in both start-up and non-start-up media environments. 

  • Current advertising agency and or direct client relationships across diverse industry verticals such as: Adult Beverage, Apparel, Automotive, Beverage, Big Box, CPG, Education, Electronics, Entertainment, Financials, Gaming, Government, Healthcare, Insurance, Mobile, Motion Picture, Music, Pharmaceutical, Political, Professional Services, Retail, QSR’s, Telecommunications, Travel & Leisure and or others.

  • A willingness to entertain clients regularly

  • Must be able to hit the ground running

  • A proven ability to sell a premium brand and content at a premium CPM to those seeking direct access to highly desired demographics through advertising and sponsorships

  • Ability to sell 30 million monthly unique visitors and growing and then up-sell as the numbers continue to grow

  • An entrepreneurial approach to business in a quick to react organization.

  • Knowledge of advertising, traffic, planning, inventory and ad serving tools for agency, direct client, programmatic and sponsorship ad sales campaigns.

One of America’s noted music entertainment brands broadcasting across digital, mobile, OEM and OTA media platforms is seeking a Director of Digital Advertising Operation to be based in New York City.


Known as a leader in embracing advanced digital advertising operations technology, the firm is seeking an advertising operations professional who enjoys working internally and externally with technology that optimizes the advertising operations process.

  • Manage all publisher partnerships to optimize inventory to increase yield 

  • Manage publisher network to optimize for pricing, packaging of media, advertising placements

  • Work with finance to establish best practices for monthly invoicing 

  • P/L for programmatic business, review analytics of audience/publishers to determine best practices for programmatic, direct and data clients

  • Manage all aspects of revenue management as it relates to ad inventory

  • Point person for all 3rd party relationships including DSP/SSP’s, Verification systems (DoubleVerify, IAS, Moat, etc.), Data (Lotame, Bluekai, etc.), Comscore, etc.

  • Manage advertising programs, site ad tag configurations and troubleshooting, and custom advertising implementations.

  • Partner with or direct Sales, Yield, Product, and Technology and vendors to identify and implement new solutions with Company's ad serving technology.

  • Act as primary point of contact for proper ad integration

  • Responsible for ensuring that sites are tracked for traffic assignment purposes 

  • Daily management including trafficking, pacing, optimization, and reporting of ad campaigns.

  • FTP and testing of all ad creative for compliance of site specifications as well as functionality.

  • Manage creative collection; obtain client approvals and inter-department communication.

  • Manage all ad creative and site specifications for compliance as well as functionality.

  • Responsible for reporting requests.




  • 5-8 years of related digital advertising operations experience with a history of increased responsibility and autonomy.

  • A solid understanding and operational experience with the programmatic, ad network and ad serving process with knowledge and experience with the listed systems in this job description above.

  • A love and interest in media technology, knowledge of OAS highly desired.  

  • A desire to work in a music oriented company across all music genres 

  • Maturity, solid work ethic, ability to work internally and externally with varied levels of business, technical and creative professionals.  

  • Start-up experience required and ideal for a self-starter who wants to enjoy a vested interest in one of America's leading music entertainment companies.
